If you’ve done Human Design, it’s based on this system. I’ve read several human design books and had a few human design readings, and I liked them for the quick hit they gave me on my personality.
If you put your birthdate in this website, it will share with you your unique gene keys. They are a signature that helps you understand yourself in this world, and helps you understand others as well.
What can the Gene Keys do for you?
The Gene Keys go beyond the Human Design system because it shows you what your basic life issues are with the Activation sequence. Then it delves into your relationship issues with the Venus sequence. Then finally, it culminates in the Pearl sequence, which is all about the work you’re here to do in the world.
It’s a bit of an investment to look at these different sequences at http://genekeys.com but it’s worth it, in my opinion. It gives you a whole new level to look at yourself.
What is the Gene Keys book about?
Check out the gene keys book, here.
It is written in a clear, engaging style. It allows you to see the deeper meaning behind each of the human design gates. Something that Richard Rudd does well is making the 64 gates a bit more plain than the originator of the system, Ra Uru Hu did.
For example, one of the most useful things I’ve found about the Gene Keys book is that it allows you to see the shadow aspect of each personality trait, the gift inherent in the shadow, and finally, what you can shoot for in the future when you think about the highest expression of the traits that you embody.
I liked this book a lot, and I’d give it 5 stars.
How does this fit in the destiny card system?
The Destiny card system is totally separate from the Gene Keys, and I think it’s more useful to use when you’re trying to figure out who you get along with, and why you get along with them, or why you don’t get along with them.
The gene keys goes deeper into your personality, and it can take years to feel out and contemplate each gene key and what it means to you.
